Join Continentals Research and Development IT Competence Center and be a part of our mission to revolutionize the tire development process with cuttingedge digital solutions. We need your expertise to elevate our virtual development process to new heights!
You will play a crucial role in enhancing our inhouse developed framework aimed at making complex simulation and prediction methods accessible through a standardized and userfriendly web application.
Your main challenge will be to bridge the gap between Engineering and IT evolving our microservicebased backend and integrating it with existing scientific workflows. You will work in a global team collaborating with colleagues from around the world to create innovative solutions.

Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement concepts for our existing Java Spring web applications
- Collaborate closely with frontend team members and engineers to create seamless solutions
- Take ownership of developing test code and test scenarios to ensure highquality deliverables
- Efficiently debug and resolve technical issues to maintain smooth operations
- Follow Scrum/Agile methodologies to organize and plan projects effectively
- Continuously improve and optimize backend systems for better performance and scalability
Qualifications :
- University degree in Computer Science or related subject area
- Advanced knowledge in developing Java web applications
- Proficiency in using IntelliJ Git/GitHub and Jenkins
- Experience with the Spring Framework
- Familiarity with Apache Camel is a plus
- Experience with Python and/or MATLAB is a plus
- Experience working with microservice architecture is a plus
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with software development team members and engineers
- Fluent English language skills (written and spoken)
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Passion for innovation and a proactive approach to problemsolving
