Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in Santa Clarita United States. As a CNC Machinist you will be responsible for operating and programming computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce highquality parts and components for our manufacturing processes.
- Set up operate and maintain various CNC machines including mills and lathes
- Program CNC machines using Gcode and Mcode making necessary adjustments for optimal performance
- Read and interpret engineering drawings blueprints and technical specifications
- Perform precision measurements and quality control checks on machined parts
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines and programs
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve manufacturing processes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to all safety protocols
- Monitor and maintain inventory of materials and tools
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in CNC machining preferred
- Minimum 23 years of experience in CNC machining
- Proficiency in operating and programming CNC machines including mills and lathes
- Strong knowledge of Gcode and Mcode programming
- Excellent blueprint reading and interpretation skills
- Experience with precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software
- Knowledge of quality control and inspection techniques
- Understanding of metalworking and manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with various material properties and machining characteristics
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work efficiently and stay organized in a fastpaced environment
- NIMS (National Institute for Metalworking Skills) certification preferred
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
