GrabInsure is part of Grab Financial Group which includes GrabPay GrabFinance and Digital Banking businesses. GrabInsures mission is to design innovative insurance that enables millions of people in Southeast Asia to protect themselves and their families against lifes uncertainties. We have already launched several firstoftheirkind products including microhealth and Usage Based Auto Insurance.
As of 2025 GrabInsure has evolved from a distributionfocused insurtech to a full stack insurtech obtaining its first insurance license in Singapore. The mission of the team remains the same to create insurance solutions to protect our customers from lifes uncertainties.
Get to Know the Role
Reporting to the Head Commercial & Strategy Insurance you will play an important part in growing our insurtech business in many aspects. You can expect growth opportunities a wide exposure to insurance management issues digital insurance innovations and technology advancements.
This role is based at Grab office at Petaling Jaya Kuala Lumpur.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Product pricing and development working with internal product marketing design engineering and external partners to develop new digital insurance propositions. (if only
- Financial management and regulatory reporting assisting with regular reporting and participating in management discussions
- Risk assessment and management working with finance actuarial and risk management teams to manage the portfolios exposures
- Data analysis and insights generation ad hoc data analysis
Qualifications :
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- 7 or more years of experience in pricing and/ or reporting
- You are an entrepreneurial ambitious and wellrounded actuary with pricing and/or reporting backgrounds ideally in general insurance.
- You are technologically savvy with interest & experience in ML and GenAI
- Fellow of either the Australian UK or US actuarial societies
- Strong cultural fit with Grabs 4H values including teamwork intellectual curiosity humility and a customercentric mindset
- SouthEast Asia experience
