Design Manager for D&B of Water treatment complex project
AtkinsRealis are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Manager to lead the D&B contractor in design and development of our water treatment plant project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering project management and water treatment technologies being Water filtration Sewage treatment and desalination. This role involves overseeing the entire design process ensuring compliance with industry standards and collaborating with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality solutions as well as manage and process RFIs TQs services coordination BIM etc..
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of water treatment plant projects from concept to completion.
Collaborate with engineers architects process designers contractor and other stakeholders to create detailed project plans and specifications.
Being a D&B project the responsibility include managing the design deliverables completion in accordance with on the ongoing structure construction.
Ensure designs comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Manage project timelines budgets and resources effectively.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
Oversee the preparation of technical drawings reports and documentation.
Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met.
Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.
Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
Manage RFIs TQs and design workshops to achieve timely delivery of designs
Arrange the review of the planned operational aspect of the plant
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
Proven experience in design management of water treatment plants in KSA/GCC.
Strong knowledge of water treatment technologies and processes.
Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Civil Engineering Architectural Engineering or a related field.
1015 years of experience in water treatment plant design management.
Experience with advanced water treatment technologies and innovative solutions.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Experience working with international projects and teams.
Strong network within the water treatment industry.
Knowledge of sustainable and green engineering practices.
