Employment type: Full time Permanent

Hours per week: 38

Remuneration: Band 7 salary from $112427.64 per annum plus superannuation and a fortnightly RDO

Location: Werribee based with potential for a hybrid work arrangement

About the role

In the position of Service Lead Project and Analytics you will harness your expertise to steer complex projects collaborate with diverse stakeholders and provide insightful recommendations based on comprehensive data analysis.

You will lead a small team responsible for an array of important and diverse work across the Community Support Department including workforce planning and analysis of service data to inform senior leadership on emerging issues affecting community members across life stages. You will lead communication and engagement activities across the life course business units and compliance and process improvements in line with mandatory legislation and reporting requirements.

To be successful in this position you will have strong project management experience and problemsolving skills with the ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. Your strong leadership skills will see you striking the balance between delivering projects across the Department whilst supporting staff in their deliverables and fostering a positive and highperforming team culture.

What your day will look like:

  • Plan deliver and evaluate projects and service initiatives aligned with departmental goals timelines and budgets.
  • Monitor project progress and performance using data insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners including government agencies to align projects with community needs and strategic objectives.
  • Analyse servicelevel data to identify trends gaps and opportunities to enhance service delivery across all life stages.
  • Contribute to workforce planning by reviewing workforce data and supporting strategies to build a sustainable capable team.
  • Prepare and present reports briefings and recommendations on emerging service delivery issues to Council leadership and stakeholders.

What you will bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in the area of policy social science or human services discipline with several years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated project management experience including project planning and developing project briefs managing project teams and implementing and monitoring task schedules
  • Demonstrated analytical problem solving and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex information for a range of audiences
  • Demonstrated experience in community service planning including leading service improvement initiatives undertaking research stakeholder consultation and engagement.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Local Government life stage services and experience working in Local Government or Public Sector environment is desirable
  • A proactive cando attitude with an eye for detail and a passion for making a difference in the community.
  • A current employee Working with Childrens Check is required.
