Job Description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Wirral to assist with the appointment of a Teaching Assistant on a 2month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 12.21 15.54 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Supporting teachers by preparing developing and maintaining appropriate learning aids materials and equipment including ICT to assist in teaching.
- Teaching a class unassisted if a teacher is unexpectedly absent (ill or on leave).
- Supporting the planning and delivering of Enrichment or other learning
activities/programmes. - Working with individual students needing special attention.
- Assessing students progress and discussing development with teachers parents and carers as well as contributing to specialist assessments for students as required.
Experience:
- Have experience of supporting young children in a learning environment.
- Experience of working with families.
Please note:
- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
- This role requires an enhanced DBS
