Job Title: Medical Billing Customer Service Representative
Location:
Remote (CST Time Zone)
Salary Range:
up to 1500 USD

Work Schedule:
Monday Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CST)

Position Overview:

Were looking for a proactive and detailoriented Medical Billing Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role involves supporting patients with billingrelated inquiries resolving disputes processing payments and ensuring accurate account updates. The ideal candidate brings excellent communication skills a serviceoriented mindset and familiarity with healthcare billing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound calls and assist patients with billing questions and payment processing.
  • Resolve billing disputes and escalate complex cases when necessary.
  • Update and maintain accurate patient account information.
  • Provide billing documentation and support materials upon request.
  • Navigate Practice Management (PM) systems and external payment platforms.
  • Deliver empathetic efficient and highquality customer service.


Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer service or billing support role.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite and basic billing tools.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fastpaced remote environment.


NicetoHaves:

  • Experience with Modernizing Medicine (EMR platform).
  • Previous call center experience in a multistate healthcare setting.
