Job Title: General Operative Plumbing & Heating Division
Reports To: Site Manager / Project Supervisor
Employment Type: FullTime

We are a growing plumbing and heating company focused on delivering highquality installations and maintenance services across residential and commercial projects. As part of our continued expansion we are looking for a reliable and organised General Operative to join our onsite team.
Job Summary:
The General Operative will be responsible for the receipt handling and distribution of all materials delivered to site. This person will play a key support role in ensuring materials are correctly located in their designated apartments houses or store areas to keep workflow efficient and projects on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Accept deliveries of plumbing heating and general construction materials on site.
Check delivered goods against delivery dockets and report discrepancies or damages.
Organise and distribute materials to the appropriate house apartment or storage location as per site requirements.
Keep site and storage areas clean tidy and wellorganised.
Communicate with site managers and foremen regarding material needs and delivery schedules.
Assist tradesmen and site staff with general labouring duties as required.
Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed during manual handling and material movement.
Key Requirements:
Previous experience in a construction environment is preferred.
Good organisational and timemanagement skills.
Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
Strong attention to detail when checking deliveries and managing stock.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates (or willingness to obtain).
Forklift or teleporter licence is a bonus but not essential.
