About the Role:
Are you an experienced pharmacy leader looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic healthcare environment We are seeking a Director of Pharmacy to oversee pharmacy operations drive clinical excellence and lead a dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to optimize pharmacy services in a forprofit hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement policies to enhance patient care medication safety and costeffectiveness.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy and clinical outcomes.
- Mentor and develop pharmacy staff fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Manage budgets inventory and vendor relationships to maximize efficiency.
- Drive strategic initiatives to support organizational goals and growth.
MustHave Qualifications:
- Active (or eligible) New Mexico Pharmacist license.
- Bachelors degree in Pharmacy (Advanced degrees such as MS PharmD or MBA strongly preferred.
- 5 years of healthcare experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in a forprofit hospital setting (highly preferred).
NicetoHave Qualifications:
- An advanced degree (MS PharmD MBA) is a significant plus!
- Strong financial and operational acumen in a hospital pharmacy.
- Experience with pharmacy automation and technology integration.
