Nursery Room Leader (Level 3

Salary: Up to 31000

Are you passionate about working with young children and fostering their development in a nurturing environment Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Room Leader for their busy 23 room where creativity and learning flourish every day. This fulltime role Monday to Friday offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic nursery team that values inclusivity teamwork and personal growth.

As a Room Leader you will take charge of leading the 23 year old room in a vibrant nursery that typically caters to 1520 children each day. With a spacious setting that backs onto a beautiful canal and boasts a large outdoor garden the nursery is the perfect place for children to learn explore and grow. The role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone with leadership experience in early years education to thrive in a supportive engaging environment.

What Were Looking For:

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
  • A few years experience in a similar role ideally having led a room or deputised in one.
  • Indepth knowledge of the EYFS and a genuine passion for early childhood education.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Enthusiasm for working with children and fostering their development.
  • Ability to work in a busy environment while maintaining a positive and proactive attitude.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and continuous professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire the 23 year old room ensuring a high standard of care and education that aligns with EYFS guidelines.
  • Support the team in planning delivering and evaluating educational activities that meet the developmental needs of the children.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents and carers using Famly software to keep families informed about their childs progress.
  • Ensure all paperwork planning and documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner following the nurserys structured approach.
  • Promote a safe caring and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow both indoors and outdoors.
