Job Description

Job Summary:

The Quality Control Tech II provides general administrative support to the Quality Control Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform general clerical functions including filing scanning data entry and digital document storage.
  • Prepare organize and file Quality Production Inspection and Shipping Records.
  • Provide administrative support and assistance to the Quality Control Department as needed.
  • Organize and prepare a report on the work orders inprocess in the Quality Control Department.
  • Provide administrative support for the management of purchase orders to outside service vendors.
  • Perform data entry and retrieve information from the enterprise software system (Visual).
  • Provide administrative support for the management of the tool calibration system.
  • Provide additional administrative support to the General Manager and Management Staff.
  • Perform other productionrelated duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be highly organized detailoriented and able to prioritize work.
  • Knowledge of and ability to use enterprise software (Visual SAP Oracle etc..
  • Fundamental understanding of the activities and requirements of the Quality Control Department.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to support Quality Control Department personnel.
  • Strong mathematical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of one year of office/administrative experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of advanced education (Associates Degree) and experience.
  • FAI and PPAP experience required
