Job Description

Job Name:Joint Targeting Analyst

Level: Senior

Position Type:Immediately Available

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop targets and target systems for joint lethal and / or nonlethalengagements.
  • Develop Targetnominations create database records and databases target intelligenceproducts.
  • Produce allsource analytic damage estimates and battle damage assessments and assistswith combat assessment requirements.
  • Conduct collateral damage estimation perform target listmanagement target strategy development and provides joint target intelligence support to deliberateand dynamic target engagements.
  • Provide recommendations for target prioritization to achievecommander objectives for plans and operations.
  • Provide database nominations create and update database and uploadsTMs into databases.
  • Assist in developing the processes and procedures to facilitate combat targetdevelopment IAW CJCSI 3122.06C CJCSI 3160.01A CJCSI 3370.01A CJCSM 3370.01 and CJCSM3375.01 battle damage assessment (BDA) IAW CJCSM 3162.01 dynamic targeting IAW JointPublication 360 and combat target enterprise management (training automation standardizationexercise coordination and readiness) to United States Cyber Command (USCC) Commander theUSCC J2 J3 J5 and SJA staffs and the USCC Components.
  • Assist with long range planning and coordinate intelligence and combattargeting efforts within USCC with USSTRATCOM other Combatant Commands the Joint Staff MilitaryTargeting Committee and the Intelligence Community. Use intelligence tools including ModernizedIntegrated Database (MIDB) interfaces such as National Production Workshop (NPW) and JointTargeting Toolbox (JTT).
  • Apply a widerange of research and analytic tools and techniques to conducttarget systems analysis target development and BDA and to provide recommendations to the J2 J3J5 and USCC Components to conduct OCO/DCORA.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • SECURITY CLEARANCE: A current & active TS/SCI Clearance with CI poly is required.
  • EDUCATION:
    • Masters degreeand 12 years of experience
      • OR Bachelors degree and 17 years of experience
  • EXPERIENCE:
    • Minimum of 12 years of experience actively working as a Targeting Analyst All Source Analyst or Intelligence Analyst
    • Possess ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction
    • Possess ability to use logic and systematic approaches to gather evaluate and synthesize multiple sources of information
    • Possess ability to interpret analysis to include but is not limited to its meaning importance and implications
    • Possess ability to defend analytic judgments with sound logical conclusions and adapt analytic judgments when presented with new information evolving conditions or unexpected developments
    • Possess ability to produce timely logical and concise analytic reports documents assessments studies and briefing materials in formats including Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Excel Word PowerPoint etc. electronic / soft copy matrices and / or webenabled formats
    • Possess ability to communicate complex issues clearly in a concise and organized manner both verbally and nonverbally
    • Possess proficiency using Microsoft Office tools
    • Possess ability to develop structured research including but not limited to obtaining evaluating organizing and maintaining information within security and data protocols
    • Possess ability to recognize nuances and resolve contradictions and inconsistencies in information
    • Possess ability to guide teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems
    • Possess the ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete indirect complex seemingly unrelated and / or technically advanced
    • Possess ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts organizations and intelligence disciplines
    • Experience supporting Defense Warning Program efforts
    • Possess ability to update and manage threat indicators for cyber threat entities
    • Possess analytical skills to monitor assess new threat trends and report
    • Experience with conducting reports and briefs changes in indicators and threat levels
    • Experience providing support to meetings related to assigned area of responsibility

Base salaries at CRC are determined by various factors including work location an individuals education knowledge skills experience as well as contractspecific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected salary range for this position is $110000 to $120000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of CRCs total compensation package.
