Job Description
Thermo King Northeast currently has a fulltime Mechanic opening at our location in Lancaster NY. This position works at a customer facility and will help maintain a fleet of 140 dry vans 120 reefer trailers and 6 yard horses. This is a 3rd shift 4day work week position (Tuesday and Wednesday 9 PM to 7 AM Thursday and Friday 7 PM to 7 AM).

Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair fleet of trailers per industry standards
- Follow established technical & administrative processes
- Complete repair orders and parts usage forms PM lists and parts accountability
- Communicate effectively with supervisor team members & customers
- Remain current on technical & regulation requirements
- Perform road service calls perform road rescue/transport equipment as required
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules regulations and government guidelines
Position Requirements:
- 2 years experience as an automotive truck bus or trailer technician
- Ability to prioritize and complete job assignments
- Proficient with computer operation/usage
- Valid drivers license CDL preferred
- Reliable motivated strong work ethic cando attitude
- Owns and maintains the proper hand tools to perform job functions
- A New York State motor vehicle inspector certificate is preferred but not required
