Job Description
Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP Business Objects Consultant
This position requires an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle.You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes deliverables and contribute to the proposal development client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape valueadding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology.
- Location of the requirement isIrving TX. Candidate should be working from the location.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in Web Intelligence (WebI) Crystal Reports Lumira Designer Analysis for Office Universe Design Tool (UDT) and Information Design Tool (IDT).
SAP Data Connectivity:
Experience working with SAP BW SAP HANA and SQLbased databases.
Performance Optimization:
Skills in report tuning query optimization and universe performance improvements.
Should have worked on at least 3 implementation and 1 support project for SAP BO.
BO Version:
Must have hands on experience with BO BI 4.2/BI 4.3 versions.
Basic SQL Knowledge:
Good understanding of databases like Oracle Microsoft SQL Server etc.
Ability to write queries joins and stored procedures for data extraction.
Define joins cardinality derived tables and aggregate awareness in universe design.
Additional Knowledge (Good to have):
Experience in SAP Analytics Cloud / Tableau / Power BI will be an added advantage.
Communication Skills:
Strong communication skills and analysis skills.
