Prescription/Referral CMA
Full Time
MondayFriday
No Weekends and No Holidays
Keystone Family Residency Program is seeking a fulltime Prescription/Referral CMA to join the team.
The Prescription/Referral CMA processes prescriptions as ordered by providers or refills as requested by pharmacies or patients. Obtains necessary prior authorizations for patients as required by their insurance and requested by the pharmacy. Oversees and monitors outgoing patient referrals in accordance with KH policy including managing referral queues submitting necessary documents and reaching out to patients and other practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant Program. Computer skills required. Experience working with EHR preferred. Previous experience preferred.
Current CPR Certification; Medical Assistant Certification a plus.
Spanishspeaking skills are a plus.
