Responsibilities

As the Senior Project Manager Water/Wastewater Treatment Plants at Lockwood Andrews & Newnam Inc. you will play a pivotal role in managing and directing a team of professionals responsible for the planning design and of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will ensure project success client satisfaction and adherence to regulatory requirements. This role combines technical expertise project management skills and leadership abilities to drive our water/wastewater projects to successful completion. We also want you to bring innovative ideas to our projects and clients on treatment systems to improve efficiencies lifecycle costs maintenance and other benefits.

  • Lead the planning design and of water and wastewater projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop project scopes budgets and timelines and direct the design team during planning design and construction.
  • Monitor project progress identify issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers designers and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs and ensuring project goals align with their expectations.
  • Ensure that all water and wastewater projects comply with relevant environmental safety and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies and obtain necessary permits.
  • Mentor and guide staff members providing technical and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering with emphasis on treatment from an accredited fouryear college or university
  • A Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment design.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing or taskled treatment projects.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards regulations and best practices.
  • Stay current on new technologies equipment and treatment innovations
