Job Summary :
We are looking for an experienced and detailoriented Floor Supervisor to manage daytoday operations on the production floor. This role involves supervising staff ensuring quality control maintaining workflow efficiency and coordinating between design printing finishing and packaging departments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise daily production activities on the shop floor including printing cutting foiling embossing binding and packaging.
- Allocate tasks to workers and ensure timelines are met for all orders.
- Inspect and maintain quality standards throughout all stages of production.
- Ensure proper maintenance and functioning of printing and finishing machines.
- Coordinate with the design and sales team to understand job specifications and timelines.
- Maintain inventory levels of raw materials tools and packaging supplies.
- Train new floor staff and ensure adherence to safety and operational procedures.
- Solve floorlevel problems quickly and efficiently.
- Ensure cleanliness discipline and organized workflow in the production area.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on production output and staff performance.
Requirements :
- Proven experience 25 years) as a floor supervisor or similar role in a printing packaging or design studio.
- Strong understanding of printing techniques (offset digital screen printing etc. and finishing processes (diecutting lamination foil stamping etc..
- Familiarity with designer invitation card materials and custom packaging standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage time prioritize tasks and work under tight deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel or production management software is a plus.
