Nothings debut smartphone Phone 1 earned Time Magazines prestigious Best Inventions for Innovative Smartphone Design award. Through cuttingedge design and user interface innovation the Londonbased company is creating an alternative ecosystem of tech products for the young and creative.
In 2023 the company launched Phone 2 to wide acclaim from its community the media and design enthusiasts and in 2024 Nothing launched its CMF Phone 1 and Nothing Phone 2a) Series with both receiving an overwhelmingly positive reception.
To date Nothing has sold more than 7 million units worldwide across its product lines having released five audio products five smartphones and two smart wearables under the Nothing and CMF by Nothing brands. The company has amassed a cumulative revenue of $1 billion.
All products are developed in close collaboration with the Nothing Community which includes over 8000 private investors and are crafted with sustainability at the forefront.

The Role
We are hiring for a Senior Software Designer to join Nothings Innovation team a small group of passionate designers engineers and UX researchers ideating on the future of how we will live with technology.
Expectations
You have a strong eye for design and are comfortable with crafting a new visual language rather than abiding to existing ones. You stay uptodate with emerging technologies and are comfortable with working with developers on the cutting edge of where design and technology intersect. Your natural instinct is to move quickly away from ideas to tangible prototypes in order to validate and test new ideas.
This role is ever changing and will require you to be flexible openminded and output driven with a strong sense of ownership. We are strong believers that at the end of the day makes better market impact.
Requirements
- Proficient in humancentred design processes and interaction design principles
- Expertise in modern software design tools such as Figma
- Excellent visual design skills and an eye for aesthetics
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset that can adapt to changing environments and multiple overlapping projects
Bonus:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in art design or creativerelated major
- Animation and prototyping skills
- Experience with mobile/tech brands
