St. Marys University of San Antonio a private Catholic and Marianist university invites applications for multiple fulltime tenuretrack 9month faculty positions in the Department of Biological Sciences at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning August 2025. We are seeking life scientists with teaching expertise at the university level to teach in one or more of the following areas: Anatomy and Physiology I & II lectures and labs for primarily nursing and exercise & sports science majors advanced Human Anatomy for majors General Biology for majors Genetics Cell Biology Microbiology for the Health Professions and Cell & Molecular Methods.

The Department of Biological Sciences currently employs 14 fulltime faculty and serves 230 undergraduate majors. Class sizes in the department are small with an average studentfaculty ratio of 17:1. The department is active in research and opportunities for collaborations and professional development are abundant. Faculty are invested in positively impacting students lives through strong mentorship exemplary teaching and commitment to community and industry engagement.
