About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and detailoriented App Delivery (uOTA) Specialist to join our team. In this role you will contribute to the development and optimization of a cuttingedge App Delivery (uOTA) platform. This platform enables seamless updates to Androidbased infotainment systems delivering continuous improvements to platform APKs and enhancing the customer experience. As part of a collaborative and fastpaced environment you will work closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure the success of the App Delivery (uOTA) channel while learning from and contributing to an innovative automotive ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• App Delivery Operations:
  • Support the endtoend App Delivery (uOTA) process ensuring timely and quality updates.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot app deployment pipelines to address and resolve issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve delivery workflows and ensure compliance with standards.
• Technical Support and Collaboration:
  • Work with development teams to validate APK readiness for App Delivery (uOTA).
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on delivery schedules milestones and requirements.
  • Assist in decoupling platform APK updates from firmware updates enabling faster release cycles.
• Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency in app delivery processes and contribute to implementing improvements.
  • Maintain documentation for workflows tools and best practices to support team knowledgesharing.
• Customer Experience Focus:
  • Ensure that App Delivery (uOTA) updates enhance enduser experiences and meet quality standards.
  • Gather feedback from internal and external stakeholders to refine processes and identify new opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report onsite at the GM Global Technical Center Cole Engineering Center Tower at least three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.

• Associates degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
• 2 years of experience in software development app delivery or related fields.
• Proven experience with app update and software delivery Android development or connected vehicle systems.
• Strong understanding of app deployment pipelines CI/CD processes and software quality assurance practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead crossfunctional teams and manage complex projects.
• experience in collecting logs analyzing android apps integration

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with App Delivery (uOTA) processes connected vehicle technologies or Android Automotive OS.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field or advanced degree.
• Basic scripting or programming knowledge to automate and streamline workflows.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• experienced with analytics and data reporting

• Compensation: The expected base compensation for this role is: $75000 $119000. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
• Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance job level and individual performance.
