Were looking for someone who is bilingual (English/Spanish) has experience in insurance verification using and EMR and chart review!

GENERAL OBJECTIVES:

1. The MA Procedure & Referral Care Coordinator in collaboration with the providers will review incoming referrals and ensure the patient is scheduled with the appropriate provider and/or procedure.
2. Completes and verifies patient registration medication holds patient education and reminder call programs for all Open Access Procedures.
3. Enhances the communication between The Spine Center and hospital departments.
4. Functions as a receptionist and remains professional and positive when dealing with stressful situations and multiple demands related to the operation of The Spine Center.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Medical terminology required
• Certified Health Unit Clerk desired

Experience:

• 1 year in hospital as a unit clerk preferred
• Strong clerical skills
• Exceptional customer service skills

SALARY RANGE

• $22.08to$32.47/hour
• Entry salary dependent upon education skill set and experience.
