Job Description
Apply today to be a Material Handler with one of the most innovative and trusted packaging companies in the world. Printpack is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the Material Handler position for the Converting plant in Grand Prairie is a 2nd shift position from 3pm11pm (MonFri).
Additional $2.50 premium for NIGHT Shift between the hours of 7pm7am. Any hours worked outside of 7pm7am will not receive the premium.
Key Responsibilities:
Efficient operation of standup fork lift to move materials
Performance of routine safety inspections and of fork lift equipment
Moving material general support of production areas shipping/receiving and material handling functions
Moving materials through plant in a safe timely manner
Keep production areas supplied with raw materials
Minimum Requirements:
Internal Candidates: Must be in good standing (No Discipline above Step 1 within 90 days at time of application)
13 years experience material handling in a manufacturing environment.
General understanding of rack numbering systems tags raw materials and WIP
Must be able to work overtime
Standup forklift experience required
