SCHOOL: Osoyoos Elemenary School
POSTING: #02 2025/26
POSITION: Early Intermediate/Late Primary Classroom & Elementary Learner Support Teacher
APPOINTMENT: 1.0 FTE Temporary
DURATION: September 1 2025 to June 30 2026
Qualifications Required:
- degree in elementary education & education degree plus an inclusiveeducation certificate or5 upperlevel courses (must include a Level B Assessment course);
- recent successful classroom experience teaching at the elementary level;
- ability to lead in the development implementation and evaluation of Individual Education Plans;
- ability to model teach and foster social emotional and cultural awareness;
- knowledge of current 21st century pedagogy and assessment practices;
- demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the professional community at the school and district level;
- effective communication interpersonal organizational and classroom management skills;
- ability to integrate technologies and digital citizenship into educational programs; and
- BC Professional Teaching Certificate and current eligibility for Teacher Qualification Service card.
