Job Description
Position: Financial Systems Analyst Manager
Reports To: Senior Accounting Operations Manager
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all Financial System projects; including planning scheduling and .
- Coordinate and support projects (system upgrades and enhancements) that support the Finance organizations strategies.
- Oversee monthly close activities of the AP and Financial Reporting systems.
- Develop strategies to support timely and efficient integration of acquired companies.
- Manage Financial System Analyst Team. Includes setting goals career development and performance review for three direct reports.
- Focus on testing and training improvements (how we can test more efficiently/effectively considering both process and tools). Promote global standard work.
- Participate in cross functional system review team to represent the needs of Finance supporting and prioritizing work assignments that increase company sales growth maintains company compliance and delivers improved productivity.
- Work closely with IT organization (Director and BSAs). Interact with Finance org and other functional groups (ie. Order Management HR Tax Mfg..
- Stay updated on Oracle system functionality.
- Maintain primary system analyst responsibilities and support in primary area of expertise
Required Abilities
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud applications (Fusion and EPM)
- Project management skills
- Finance and System analysis and problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- General accounting knowledge
- Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office Tools
Required Education and Experience
- 710 years experience with Oracle applications
- College degree in System Accounting or related field
- 35 years management experience
- Some programming (ie. SQL) would be helpful in position
