Job Description
The Jefferson Financial Empowerment Center (FEC) aims to improve the financial stability of Jefferson County residents by providing highquality oneonone financial counseling as a public service. FEC counseling services are based on four guiding principles: establishing safe banking relationships increasing savings reducing debt and building credit. The FEC is operated in partnership between Jefferson County and Community Action Coalition. The Jefferson FEC partners with many government and nonprofit social services in the community to help low to moderate income residents address their financial challenges and needs and plan for their futures.
