The candidate will work in a large enterprise storage environment. He or she will play a key role in the daily administration of SAN and backup solutions with an emphasis on Dell ECS IBM COS Pure Storage and PMAX/VMAX technologies.
Main tasks:
- Solid experience with Dell ECS IBM COS PMAX/VMAX Pure Storage
- Zoning mastery SRDF Solution Enabler CLI PowerPath
- Knowledge of Brocade SAN switches (CMCNE)
- Python/Shell scripting skills
- OS: RHEL Windows VMware Linux
- Experience with backup tools like Netbackup and TSM
- Language: bilingual or Englishspeaking
Strengths:
- Experience with IBM tape libraries
- Good understanding of network infrastructure and operating systems
- Experience in a large corporate environment
Job description:
The candidate will work in a large enterprise storage environment. He or she will play a key role in the daily administration of SAN and backup solutions with an emphasis on Dell ECS IBM COS Pure Storage and PMAX/VMAX technologies.
Main tasks:
- Administer SAN environments (PMAX Pure Storage zoning SRDF provisioning etc.
- Manage backups via Netbackup and TSM
- Administer and monitor storage performance (Unisphere PowerPath RAID etc.
- Perform SAN migrations and resolve technical incidents
- Produce capacity and utilization analysis reports
- Collaborate with vendors for hardware support
- Provide afterhours and weekend support as needed
