Job Description
We are searching for compassionate and energetic individuals to join our team! We are seeking a PartTime Imaging Assistant based in our midtown Charlotte location. You will work in our Ballantyne location on Sundays & Mondays and our mid town Charlotte office Tuesday Saturday. The ideal candidate must be well organized and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to ensure an excellent patient experience.
- Monitors MRI schedules adjusts and communicates as necessary to allow the technologists to maintain an ontime schedule and run the scanning area in an orderly and efficient fashion.
- Escorts patients to and from the imaging area for their diagnostic exam and provides general instructions. May assist with positioning the patient on the table.
- Must remain readily available to assist with patients in adherence with ACR guidelines.
- Uploads CDs to the PACS system burns CDs for patients and staff as needed and maintains proper records in Nextgen.
- Assists with nonambulatory patients which may include heavy lifting and/or infrequent holding of patients during certain Xray procedures which may lead to an exposure of radiation.
- Assists technologists with the screening process and reviews documentation to ensure proper completion.
- Cleans stocks and organizes imaging work and patient areas and supply room.
- Complies with all our processes and HIPAA regulations.
- Applies our values in decisionmaking and interactions with all individuals.
- Promotes a positive work environment through effective teamwork.
- Other duties as assigned by changing needs patient flow or physician request.

Hours:
This position will work 20 24 hours a week as follows on a rotating schedule:
Week 1 Monday Wednesday Thursday Friday 3:30pm 9:30pm
Week 2 Tuesday 3:30pm9:30pm Saturday 8:00am4:00pm Sunday 8:00am4:00pm
Week 2 Tuesday 3:30pm9:30pm Saturday 8:00am4:00pm Sunday 8:00am4:00pm
* Sunday and Mondays will be at our Ballantyne location
*Tuesday Saturday will be at our Baldwin location
Flexibility required for shift end times based on appointment schedule.
