Position Title: Millwright
Location: Convent LA
Job Type: Fulltime
Pay Range: (depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday some weekends/overtime as needed

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright to join our industrial maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing maintaining troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical drawings
• Assemble install align and dismantle machinery and equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems
• Use precision tools (micrometers calipers laser alignment tools etc.
• Operate hoists cranes and forklifts as required
• Inspect machines and equipment for proper performance and detect faults
• Follow all safety policies procedures and regulations
• Collaborate with other maintenance and production personnel

Qualifications:

• Technical certification or apprenticeship in millwright or industrial maintenance preferred
• 35 years of millwright experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problemsolving skills
• Ability to read technical documents and follow detailed instructions
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs climb ladders and work in confined spaces

Preferred Experience:

• Welding and fabrication experience
• Experience with pumps conveyors turbines compressors and gearboxes
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• OSHA safety certification
