Job Description
Position: Electrician (Audio Visual and IT)
Job Status: FullTime
Job Responsibilities:
- Relocation or addition of Electrical outlets for AV/IT Equipment being installed
- Installation of devices such as switches outlets light fixtures circuit breakers relocating power outlets adding additional outlets 110V/220V
- Install maintain and repair low voltage electrical; including computer/phone cable jacks and plugs and test for adequate operation
- Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes blueprints and standards
- Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning.
- Critical thinking and creative problemsolving skills
- Preproject planning and generating material lists
- Review project plans and specs to ensure proper of the project task for electrical work
Job Requirements:
- Run conduit bend thread and install electrical wiring and conduit terminate panels.
- Accurately bend and install EMT rigid flex and PVC conduits for installation of electric systems
- Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures
- Willingness to work flexible hours; work overtime as needed
- Troubleshoot electrical issues
- Read blueprints and electrical drawings
- Must be proficient with the use of hand power tools
- Clean DMV record; upon request candidate needs to provide DMV record
- Candidate must have a valid CA driver license (commercial DL is not required)
- Candidate must be able to complete a background check/criminal background check
Bonus Skills: (great to have but not a requirement)
- 5 years of commercial electrical experience
- C10 license
- ET CARD or State certification
- Experience with power utilities
- Scissor Lift or Aerial Lift Equipment Certification
- OSHA 10 or 30
