About Corewell Health Wayne Hospital
Corewell Health Wayne Hospital opened its doors to western Wayne communities in 1957. This fullservice hospital is the only hospital in the Wayne Westland Garden City Canton Inkster and Romulus area verified by the American College of Surgeons as a Level III Trauma Center. The hospital has a longstanding partnership with Detroit Metropolitan Airport and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to handle a wide variety of health and communicable disease concerns including mass trauma and emergency patients.
Scope of Work
Responsible for the technical component of NonInvasive Cardiology procedures. Technical staff works with clinical nurse in the cardiac stress testing labs. Technical staff uses specific age and cultural related physical intellectual psychosocial and developmental attributes in interactions with patients/families and hospital staff. Team effort required for QA/QI endeavors customer satisfaction improvement.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Certified Cardiovascular Technician or BS in Exercise Science (or degree in related health field) or 35 years previous stress testing experience. Preferred: Previous experience in EKG and Cardiac Stress Testing familiarity with EKG interpretation.
- Current BLS required.
