Given the resignation of the incumbent we are seeking to fill the role of VicePrincipal at Chatelech Secondary School in Sechelt commencing in August 2025. This is a continuing appointment and the successful applicant may be placed at other schools in the District in future years. The salary range for this position currently is: $138313 to $145721.
If you have the following qualifications we invite you to apply!
Evidence of successful teaching and educational leadership experience (in a secondary school preferred given the initial placement)
Academic preparation/postgraduate work
Demonstrated ability to develop a school culture of collaboration innovation and inquiry
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Possession of or eligibility for a BC teaching certificate
Previous school administrative experience is an asset
A demonstrated commitment to action towards Truth and Reconciliation
Commitment to cooperative sitebased school management
