Public Grants Officer
Save the Redwoods League San Francisco CA or McKinleyville CA
The Public Grants Officer is responsible for managing all aspects of the public grants program for Save the Redwoods League including identifying public funding opportunities developing grant proposals and managing grants received. This position has primary responsibility for implementing competitive grant programrelated funding strategies in coordination with the Director of Public & Institutional Funding the Chief Development Officer and the Chief Programs Officer in support of projects identified in the Leagues annual and longrange plans. This includes managing the Leagues public funding pipeline and calendar developing public funding proposals and monitoring grants through the approval process.
While the Public Grants Officer is a member of the Leagues Development Department and reports to the Director of Public & Institutional Funding the Officer also regularly engages with members of the Leagues Conservation Programs Department and partners with program team colleagues to solicit public agencies identified in the funding plans for individual projects.

Work Schedule:
This role is hybrid with a minimum of 12 days onsite in our San Francisco headquarters per week. Our weekly inoffice days are Tuesdays and Thursdays.Additionaldays are based on business needs. North Coast candidates would be required to come to San Francisco on an as needed basis (roughly quarterly).
Compensation & Benefits:
As a fulltime salaried employee you will be eligible for full benefits which include medical dental and vision insurance three weeks of vacation annually plus holidays and a 401k retirement plan currently with an up to 8 company match. We offer competitive salariescommensuratewith experience and internal/external equity considerations; the salary range for this position is $per year.
