About the Opportunity
We are actively seeking an experienced Clinical Manager to join our team working across Monday to Friday on a permanent fulltime basis at our lovely Glendale home located in Townsville.
Reporting to our General Manager you will be responsible for ensuring consistently a high quality of care is provided to our residents to facilitate and support their continued enjoyment of life within their level of capability.
As the Clinical Manager your responsibilities will expand across clinical governance staff management ANACC and resident care. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring the delivery of high quality and personalised care to all resident
- Knowledge of the aged care sector standards
- Sound understanding of processes needed to respond to clinical and quality audits using the principles of continuous improvement.
- Developing monitoring and implementing nurse care plans assessing planning and evaluating existing care plans
- Performing comprehensive assessments and investigating issues and incidents
- Participating in and ensuring all compliance is adhered to in accordance with aged care standards and Bolton Clarke policies and procedures.
- Actively supervising training and mentoring all RNs and PCWs
About You
The successful candidate must meet the following criteria:
- Permanent FullTime
- Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
- Minimum of 3 years postregistration experience as an RN
- Experience as a Senior Registered Nurse or Clinical Nurse Leader (desirable)
- Demonstrated working knowledge of current aged care standards accreditation and auditing processes and ANACC
- Personal and professional commitment to delivering high quality care the development of yourself and your staff and the overall continuous improvement of your site
- Solid leadership skills along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Current flu and COVID Vaccinations
