What are your contributions to the team
This role is crucial in supporting Bombardier Defense to secure strategic sales campaigns by presenting the portfolio of our aftermarket organization. The candidate will have the following responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Coordinate in conjunction with sales the overall strategy for bid response; including identifying winning conditions
- Prepare technical presentations for customers showcasing Bombardier Defense capabilities
- Prepare support organize and lead opportunity strategy proposal kickoff/daily status and program handoff meetings; support and organize customer meetings and/or visits.
- Prepare proposals Rough Orders of Magnitude (ROMs) Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought responses and White papers for modification programs and/or engineering support activities
- Prepare management reviews and obtain management approvals for all written products to be delivered to customers
- Manage all proposal efforts assigned; development of proposal schedule compliance and capability matrices conveyance of program strategy to all stakeholders and develop the plan/schedule to meet required timeline
- Develop negotiate and/or manage statements of work (SOW) program workshare and technical statements of requirements (TSOR) relating to aircraft modification and/or special mission engineering services.
How to thrive in this role Skills knowledge & experience:
- Typically a minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and/or managing proposal for U.S. Defense customers as either a prime or subcontractor utilizing industry best practices in federal proposal development and management.
- Bachelor Degree in business engineering or equivalent with a technical knowledge of aircraft aircraft systems and special mission equipment.
- Strong technical knowledge of aircraft aircraft systems and special mission equipment.
- Experience with the US Federal Business Development Lifecycle and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Excellent customer facing skills and the ability to effectively negotiate in line with business objectives.
- Project management skills
- Be a proactive team player with initiative and excellent communication skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while working towards short deadlines.
- Ability to travel if needed both nationally and internationally
- Currently hold or be eligible to obtain a US Personnel Security Clearance (PCL) at the Secret Level.
