Location: NHA WAKE CHARTER ACADEMY
Schedule: School Hours 30 hrs/week

A Day in the Life of an LPN at PSI:
As an LPN at PSI your responsibilities will include:
- Providing nursing care and health support to children in school settings.
- Administering medications monitoring vital signs and managing basic health care needs.
- Supporting the prevention of communicable diseases and implementing protocols to maintain a safe healthy environment.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals school staff and families to ensure the best care for each child.
- Handling confidential information and maintaining compliance with HIPAA laws and regulations.
- Staying informed about medication protocols school health practices and other related nursing guidelines.
What Were Looking For:
To be considered for this LPN position you must meet the following requirements:
- Current LPN license through the North Carolina Board of Nursing (required).
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality (required).
- Experience in school health or pediatric nursing is preferred but not necessary.
- Basic knowledge of communicable disease prevention and medication administration (required).
- Must have or be willing to obtain current BLS/CPR and/or First Aid certification (depending on position).
