About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to support and influence the safeguarding of children in Nottingham City childcare settings.
This role supports early years practitioners to fulfil their statutory duties regarding the Welfare Requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework through providing a comprehensive support service to Ofsted registered childcare settings including day nurseries preschool playgroups childminders and out of school provision. The post holder will also have responsibility for ensuring policies and practises reflect the Interagency Child Protection Procedures of the Nottingham City Safeguarding Children Partnership (NCSCP).
The post holder will also develop and deliver a range of safeguarding training courses and network sessions as part of the Early Years City wide Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programme of training for the 05 Early Years sector.
