About the Community: The Estates at Heathbrook is a 384unit apartment community located in Ocala FL. At this community residents have exclusive access to onsite amenities including an oasis swimming pool 24hour fitness center clubhouse and indoor racquetball tennis courts and a volleyball court.
About the Role: Northland is looking for an experienced proactive Lead Maintenance Technician to supervise the maintenance team and oversee work orders and repairs at the community. Must be able to prioritize and schedule projects and staff for timely completion of projects. They are responsible for completing maintenance service requests and work orders including but not limited to HVAC electrical pool maintenance plumbing carpentry painting and housekeeping items. They will complete work orders and turn vacant apartments for move in in a timely an efficient manner while working safely and keeping an eye on budget. They maintain the highest level of professionalism and customer service to our residents vendors and guests.

As part of our promise to deliver a toptier experience to our residents maintenance team members are required to handle afterhours emergency calls and be oncall as needed including nights and weekends.
Qualifications & Requirements: The individual must possess the following knowledge skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that they can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation using some other combination of skills and abilities.
- Previous experience in general maintenance plumbing carpentry electrical HVAC and painting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff residents and vendors.
- Must be able to work nights and weekend shift as part of the oncall responsibility.
- Previous experience managing direct reports strongly preferred.
