Job Description

Trade Compliance Manager TCRS4406

HIGH LEVEL OVERVIEW

The Trade Compliance Manager will provide regulatory guidance and implement best practices to ensure compliance with U.S. customs rules and regulations.

This is an individual contributor hybrid role based near Wichita Kansas.

EXPECTATIONS

  • Manage and mitigate risks related to trade compliance
  • Provide guidance on regulatory changes impacting trade and implement effective processes
  • Develop and maintain procedures for trade compliance activities
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams and establish strong professional relationships.
  • In depth knowledge of U.S CBP rules and regulations; HTS COO Valuation FTA etc.
  • Experience with PGAs including USDA TSCA APHIS FTA
  • Working understanding of Canadian Customs processes
  • Experience managing brokerage partners SOPs and KPIs
  • Strong data and analytic skills
  • Proficient with MS365 including Power BI

ESSENTIALS

  • Experience working with large multinational companies
  • Agriculture or chemical import industry knowledge preferred
  • Licensed Customs Broker preferred
  • Minimum 35 years experience in trade compliance
  • Strong communication skills
  • Independent selfstarter comfortable challenging status quo processes
