The Production Manager will be responsible for working with the Plant Manager in safe and efficient daily operations within multiple fastpaced production departments supporting our companys objectives. This role involves managing staff performance facilitating communication between departments and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daytoday production of the following business units: Column Processing Laboratory Shipping/Receiving and RTC/Cylinder Maintenance
- Ensure work schedules are executed efficiently while retaining high standards of safety quality and productivity
- Maintain workflow by monitoring the performance and adjusting work assignments as needed
- Actively participate in hiring coaching and employee development
- Encourage ongoing employee growth through regular training feedback and innovation with a constant focus on improving safety practices and performance
- Advancing a culture of accountability
- Promote formalized processes for problemsolving empowering employees to actively identify issues develop solutions and implement corrective actions
- Continuously looking for opportunities to improve and establish measurable KPIs in each departments performance
- Working closely with the site EHS Manager to ensure a safe culture is promoted and sustained
- Identify and address key concerns and risks that may alter or impact ontime delivery or complete order fulfillment
- Monitor and maintain equipment for proper and continuous functioning while minimizing downtime
Experience and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelors degree in operations management or related field and/or a minimum of 10 years of experience in a supervisory/management experience
- EPA 608 certification required upon hire or must be obtained within 6 months
- Must be able to obtain certification within 60 days of employment for forklift overhead crane and clamp
- Availability to work overtime including weekends as necessary
- Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to analyze issues and implement effective solutions
- High attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions understand job responsibilities and meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
- Capability to be trained on ARB/EPA standards and regulatory compliance
- HVAC experience is highly preferred. Previously skilled trade experience in machine repair and experience working in a chemical or water processing environment preferred
Physical Demand Requirements:
- Sitting up to 75 of the time standing and/or walking 25 of the time
- Frequently operates a computer using a traditional keyboard to input detailed information typing and mouse usage up to 50
- Bending or stooping up to 10
- Eye strain from computer work up to 15
- The ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Frequently communicates detailed information to others. Must be able to exchange accurate information that others can understand
