Contract: Casual worker contract/Hours as and when required by mutual agreement

Who we are:
Scripture Union Scotland is a national charity with around 120 staff and over 2200 volunteers. Our vision is to see every child and young person of Scotland exploring the Bible and responding to the significance of Jesus.
Our centres regularly host school groups participating in residential experiences youth groups enjoying weekend breaks and a variety of SU Holidays. Making the most of the stunning opportunities that Scotlands countryside affords we use outdoor activities to build relationships with young people enabling them to have fun develop new skills and work together.
We currently have vacancies forcasual worker catering staff at our residential centre Lendrick Muir.
Purpose:
Working as part of the Cateringteam you will assist
in fulfilling all catering requirements of the Centre including preparation cooking and baking and service for school groups weekend groups and various meetings/functions. In addition the role will include cleaning and maintaining kitchens to a high standard and induction of selfcatered groups.

We are seeking applicants who enjoy working alongside others and who are committed to providing a high standard of guest service. Applicants for this post should have experience in catering and be able to work on their own initiative. You will most likely have undergone some catering training hold food hygiene certification and have worked in the hospitality industry but this is not essential. Some evening and weekend work may be .
The successful applicant will be required to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Scheme and the appointment will be subject to a satisfactory PVG Scheme Disclosure.
