Responsibilities:

Perform hand assembly work on postsurface mount circuit boards by following detailed written work instructions.

Identify and read the values polarity and orientation of thruhole components i.e. capacitors resistors transistors ICs etc.

Identify the orientation and polarity of components in reference to the printed circuit board for thruhole.

Ability to read assembly drawings and utilize a BOM to identify customer part numbers for assembly.

Verify thruhole part values and correct part location placement.

Basic understanding of the IPCA610 Class 2 standards.

Utilize basic equipment necessary to complete the products final assembly including hot glue clipping masking etc. as needed.

Takes responsibility for the quality of ones individual work.

Demonstrates accuracy and neatness in their work.

Will notify team leader if team is not following quality processes.

Will present new ideas and improvements to team leader.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED with experience with production assembly processcompany will train as needed.

Requires prolonged sitting standing and frequent bending stooping and stretching.

Manual dexterity is crucial in the placement and handling of thruhole components.

Good eyesight is necessary for identifying components and their placement.

Occasional light lifting will be required.

Will be drug tested and background checked.
