Job Description
Kensington School is accepting applications for a School Maintenance Custodian. The right candidate will have 3 or more years of experience working for a school or similar facility.
Maintenance duties include but are not limited to:
monthly carpet cleaning
changing lightbulbs
fixing / assembly of toys & furniture
painting
monthly deep cleans of flooring (classrooms bathrooms kitchen)
move furniture as needed
light yard work trash pick up
plumbing experience
electrical experience
JOB REQUIREMENTS
At least 3 years minimum of Maintenance / Custodian / Janitor experience required.
Experience in a school environment preferred.
Must be able to work evenings & weekends. Flexible schedule depending on work at hand this is a parttime position.
Qualifications:
Previous experience professional cleaning/housekeeping
Must pass a state background check
Complete a medical form
References are required
Compensation starts at a $20 hourly rate. This position is nights and weekends only.
