Summary:

The Multinational Head ofUnderwritingKnowledge is responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge management strategy that will enable the multinationalunderwritingfunction. This role will ensure the accessibility and currency of key information support underwriters in navigating complex multinational risks and identify training needs to enhanceunderwritingexpertise across the organization. This is a hybrid role based in our Madrid office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert support tounderwritingcolleagues globally on complex multinational risks offering guidance and insights.

  • Develop and implement a strategic knowledge management plan for multinationalunderwriting encompassing data acquisition storage accessibility and utilization.

  • Maintain a current and accurate multinationalunderwritingknowledge database including regulatory updates best practices and case studies.

  • Identify and define training requirements for underwriters operations and distribution teams related to multinationalunderwritingand risk management.

  • Collaborate with training and development teams to design and deliver effective training programs.

  • Contribute to the development ofunderwritingguidelines and best practices for multinational business.

  • Stay abreast of evolving regulatory environments and industry best practices in multinational insurance.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to knowledge management and training effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in Multinational P&Cunderwriting

  • Strong knowledge of international insurance regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Proven experience in knowledge management and training program development.

  • Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across different teams and geographical locations.
