The Westerner in West Valley City UT is looking to hire a parttime Kitchen Assistant to assist in food preparation and order assembly. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A KITCHEN ASSISTANT
As a Kitchen Assistant at our restaurant you arrive each day determined to ensure that every meal meets our established guidelines in food service as well as adheres to any special requests. You prepare the fresh ingredients so they are ready to be used for our delicious barbecue and sides. With attention to detail you assemble and plate meals in an appealing manner. To make sure that properly cooked meals get out to guests in a timely manner you communicate effectively with other kitchen and frontofhouse staff while staying organized coordinated and efficient. You always maintain the cleanliness of food prep areas and follow food sanitation standards to the letter. With a friendly attitude and professional approach towards coworkers and guests alike you contribute greatly to the success of our restaurant. You find great satisfaction in providing our guests with a delicious meal that lives up to our standards of quality!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A KITCHEN ASSISTANT
- 18 years of age
- Ability to acquire a Salt Lake County health department food handlers permit within 7 days of hire

WORK SCHEDULE
This position in food service is parttime on works Friday and Saturday from 7 pm 12 am.
