Job Description
An innovative and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher is required to join an Outstanding Mixed school in Haringey. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 to develop strong computational thinking and digital literacy skills preparing them for the future.
Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver stimulating Computer Science lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Prepare students effectively for GCSE Computer Science examinations and practical assessments.
- Foster a creative and problemsolving learning environment encouraging innovation.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback to support their development.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a Computer Science or Computing specialism.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4.
- A strong and comprehensive understanding of programming languages and computer systems.
- Excellent communication and instructional skills capable of making complex concepts accessible.
