English Teacher Outstanding School Surrey
An Outstanding Ofstedrated secondary school in Surrey requires a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join their highly successful and collaborative English department. This is a fulltime permanent position teaching Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5 for a suitably experienced candidate). The department is known for its excellent student outcomes and supportive team atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
The appointed English Teacher will plan and deliver highquality engaging lessons designed to inspire a love of language and literature in all students. You will be responsible for developing students reading writing speaking and listening skills across a range of texts and genres. Assessing student progress accurately providing effective feedback and collaborating closely with colleagues are crucial parts of this English Teacher role. We need a dynamic English Teacher for this post.
Requirements:
Candidates must be a qualified English Teacher (QTS) with a degree in English Literature English Language or a closely related subject. Proven experience teaching English at the secondary level is essential. Strong classroom management skills excellent communication and the ability to motivate students of all abilities are required.
