ECT Art Teacher Begin Your Teaching Journey in a Creative and Supportive School

Contract: Fulltime Permanent
Salary: MPS1 (in line with national pay scales for ECTs)

As an Art Teacher at our school you will:
Teach engaging and inclusive Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 introducing students to a variety of artistic techniques and media
Support students in developing both technical skills and creative confidence
Contribute to curriculum planning alongside a collaborative and experienced department team
Use assessment and feedback to help students progress and take pride in their achievements
Encourage involvement in extracurricular activities such as art clubs exhibitions and creative school events
Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that inspires every learner
Were looking for a motivated and reflective ECT who:
Will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) by September 2025
Has a degree in Art Fine Art or Art & Design with a strong portfolio and understanding of visual arts practice
Is passionate about making Art accessible enjoyable and meaningful for all students
Has strong communication and organisational skills
Is eager to contribute to a supportive school community and grow as a teacher
Shares our values of inclusion creativity and high expectations
