In this role you will be instrumental in the Exterior Department using your skills to process and analyze large volumes of data. You will collaborate with diverse teams including Engineering Quality Control VINFASTs suppliers to create cuttingedge solutions that will drive the future of transportation.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Lighting Manager to lead the development implementation and optimization of automotive lighting systems. This role involves managing crossfunctional teams collaborating with design and engineering departments and ensuring lighting products meet all technical aesthetic safety and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive lighting technologies project management and team leadership.
Lead the design development and validation of automotive lighting systems (headlamps taillamps interior lighting etc.
Oversee lighting product life cycles from concept through production launch.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal departments to define requirements and ensure ontime delivery.

Ensure compliance with global automotive lighting regulations and standards (e.g. FMVSS ECE SAE).
Coordinate with styling and engineering teams to integrate lighting solutions into vehicle platforms.
Manage lighting budgets timelines resources and performance metrics.
Evaluate and implement new lighting technologies (e.g. LED OLED laser adaptive lighting).
Mentor and lead a team of lighting engineers and designers.
Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for lighting system issues.
Prepare technical documentation and participate in design reviews and customer meetings.
Coordinate with styling and engineering teams to integrate lighting solutions into vehicle platforms.
Manage lighting budgets timelines resources and performance metrics.
Evaluate and implement new lighting technologies (e.g. LED OLED laser adaptive lighting).

Prepare standards design guidelines and lessons learned documents.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related field Master s preferred).
10 years of experience in automotive lighting design and development.
Strong knowledge of lighting technologies regulations and manufacturing processes.
Proven leadership and project management skills.
Experience working with CAD simulation tools and lighting software (e.g. CATIA LightTools LucidShape.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and crossfunctional teams.
10 years of experience in automotive lighting design and development.
Strong knowledge of lighting technologies regulations and manufacturing processes.
Proven leadership and project management skills.
Experience working with CAD simulation tools and lighting software (e.g. CATIA LightTools LucidShape.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
