Job Description
- Maintain open ongoing communication with families and caregivers.
- Design and adapt lesson plans to meet diverse learning styles and individualized goals.
- Provide instruction in core academic areas while reinforcing socialemotional and life skills.
- Track student progress keep accurate records and continuously refine instructional methods.
- Build an inclusive classroom culture that encourages participation confidence and independence.
- Create a structured positive classroom environment using effective behavior management strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Prior experience working with children with special needs is preferred.
- Valid Illinois teaching certification in Special Education with LBS1 endorsement.
