Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Software Engineer (Principal/Senior Python/Django) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Architecting & Scaling: Design and optimize Djangobased microservices to handle millions of transactions per day.
- Kubernetes (AKS) Mastery: Implement distributed services service meshes and containerized workflows with zerodowntime deployments.
- SecurityFirst Mindset: Ensure HIPAAcompliance rolebased access control (RBAC) encryption (TLS 1.3 and API security best practices.
- HighPerformance API Design: Optimize REST APIs introduce GraphQL or gRPC if needed and reduce latencyto sub100ms levels.
- Advanced Caching & Storage: Leverage Redis PostgreSQL and object storage (Azure Storage) for highspeed faulttolerant architectures.
- CloudNative Optimization: Implement scalable eventdriven architectures using Kafka RabbitMQ or Azure Event Grid.
- Automation & DevOps: Design CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions (or similar) Kubernetes operators and infrastructureascode (Terraform Helm etc..
- Ensure automated testing code scanning and container image security checks are seamlessly integration.
- AI/ML Integration (if applicable): Work with predictive models AIpowered decision support and realtime streaming analytics.
- Mentoring & Leadership: Drive technical excellence set coding standards and mentor a team of highly skilled engineers.
Requirements
- 812 years of experience in Python (Django/FastAPI/Flask) and microservices development.
- Expertlevel Kubernetes knowledge (Azure AKS preferred or GKE/EKS).
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (Azure AWS or GCP) not just usage but architecturelevel knowledge.
- Mastery of PostgreSQL (sharding query optimization multiregion replication).
- Handson experience with Redis for caching Celery for distributed tasks and asynchronous processing architectures.
- Experience scaling hightraffic multitenant SaaS applications.
- Strong understanding of distributed computing service discovery and eventdriven architectures.
- Security expertise: Identity & access management (OAuth2 SSO RBAC) API security threat modeling.
- Experience in realtime logging monitoring and alerting (Prometheus Grafana ELK stack).
- A DevOps mindset you write infrastructureascode and automate deployments at scale.
- Strong problemsolving ability you optimize systems not just code.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with Kafka or Azure Event Hubs for highthroughput event processing.
- Advanced AI/ML knowledge for predictive analytics in healthcare IT.
- Experience with FHIR/HL7 standards for healthcare interoperability.
- Realtime data streaming expertise for highspeed analytics.
- Experience leading architecture decisions for multimilliondollar SaaS platforms.
